Liaison America offers Brazilian educators the opportunity to experience educational practices in the United States in schools and universities during a transformative experience. Through exchanges between educators from different countries, the To BE Program allows you to expand horizons and build a broader view of education at a global level.

PROGRAM'S CONTENT

The following workshops are held at the universities and high schools visited 

Curriculum Management
- Elective courses;
- Learning through projects -project based learning (PBL);
- Flipped classroom;
- Design Thinking
Business Management
- Effective leadership and distribution of tasks;
- Overview of the American school - past, present and evolution, a frequent search;
- Developing teamwork performance
School Management
- Strategic planning and educational leadership;
- Use of technology and innovation in the classroom;
- Diversification of learning spaces;
 - Special education - special students and advanced students;

EXPERIENCES

  • Shadowing professionals from schools visited during a regular work day;
  • Visits to universities and schools from kindergarten through high school and meetings
    with their managers, principals, coordinators, teachers and students in order to share
    successful ideas and experiences;
  • Experience in real classes of American universities;
  • Experience in educational projects developed in American schools;
  • Cultural activities: museums, sights and natural beauties of the state of Virginia;
  • Presentation about Brazil and its institution at the certification ceremony Be a
    Liaison!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The program provides:​​​
  • Hotel rooms (single or double), including breakfast;
  • Ground transportation throughout the period;
  • Travel Insurance with coverage of $ 60,000.00 dollars;
  • Simultaneous translation to Portuguese;
  • Certificate of 60 hours;
The participant must provide:​​
  • individual flight, adapting to their needs, period and forms of payment; 
  • Meals cost, aside from what it is being mentioned above (ex: personal meals, meals at restaurants, etc);
  • Passport and VISA expenses;
  • Any other unmentioned expense.

INVESTIMENT

Individual room: $4,100.00

Double room: $3,500.00

We offer two payments options:
 
Through bank slip:
  • The slip is sent monthly to the payer's e-mail.
  • First bank slip: It will be sent after completing all forms and submiting the Financial Agreement.
  • Last bank slip: 30 days prior to the participant's departure date.
           
Payment by credit card:
  • Up to 10 installments (with interest on the card)
  • For this option, we will request a copy of the credit card and a filled out form for debit authorization of the established amount.
 
IMPORTANT:
The registration will be effected only after the first payment, either by installments or cash, as well as sending all the requested documents.
The person responsible for the payment of the program must fill in, sign and acknowledge the notarized signature of the document FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT IN THE LIAISONAMERICA PROGRAM (financial commitment document that will be sent after registration) andattach his/her identification documents (RG and CPF).
